Grades 1-3 Tuesdays 15:00-16:30 Children will be encouraged to listen and explore sounds around them, create their own instruments, and melodies. Playing musical instruments helps children benefit on many different levels, from enhancing cognitive skills while fostering creative thinking and their ability to focus. This course invites participants into a cooperative learning space, where recycled materials will be used to build our own instruments and make music. With some understanding that fun is fundamental to learning, this workshop will increase their appreciation of music, crafts, and teamwork.
